Looks, rolls, feels phenomenal.
Rolled a few hundred putts with a similar article. This one looks better, feels better, and performs as good or better. I expect to get many questions about it.
I expect the grip to fit well in most hands, it’s just right for me (I wear a medium-large glove). The low amount of forward-press is welcome, noticeable but not cumbersome.
Straight into the bag.
Extremely satisfied with this putter, played with it for the first time yesterday and it was rolling amazing. Can’t wait for future products! I need a how to video for the ball scooper cause I couldn’t do it for the life of me! 😂😂😂
Five stars for the value alone. Will likely game this season!
Honest review from a 14 HCP rolling this ULT putter on my basement putting strip in Wisconsin winter.
34.5 inch length
Bought in during the pre-order phase at less than 55-60% of what major OEMs are charging for their zero or low torque putters.
Objective review:
Actually low/zero torque? YES
Packaged well? YES
Built to request spec? YES
Damage free? YES
So far so good! Who doesn't want their clubs built correctly, to spec, damage free?
Subjective review:
Looks great! Actually prefer this behind the ball over a spider ZT. The shaping and angles give it a natural alignment similar kinda like the Phantom lineup tried to do with shaping beyond just alignment lines. The milled face feels slightly softer than my DF3. Milled lines around the perimeter give it a more premium look.
I painted the single alignment line black, personal preference.
Head weight feels slightly heavier than my current DF3 which is already heavy spec. I prefer a heavier putter head, so this feels great.
Grip SHAPE feels great. The larger pistol is somewhat like a Superstroke 2.0 pistol or the LAB pistol press. The forward press grip lines up well.
The grip does feel a bit firmer and not as tacky for my preference, but the texture pattern on the grip helps improve sensation in the hands.
Great value! Functions as well as OEM. Looks great, if not better the OEMs. Consider your personal preference. Would have probably not spent $700 on a custom LAB as my first zero torque putter and just grabbed this instead. Performance is nearly identical so far.
Can't wait to see what's next.
